Divisions

Administration is responsible for the overall operation of the Police Department, including budget and planning processes.	Field Operations includes the Patrol and Investigative Divisions. This bureau provides the fundamental response to crime.

Support Services provides a signficant array of services, including community-focused planning, logistics, training, recruiting, and accreditation.	Communications provides Enhanced 911 services to Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson College, and serves as a regional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).
