The Support Services Division is a specialized division that is responsible for a wide variety of police services that compliments work done by the Field Operations Division. The Support Services manages many the "behind the scenes" aspects of the agency. The Division is commanded by a Captain, who also serves as the Accreditation Manager for the Department. Support Services also includes a Lieutenant, two Sergeants, four officers, and a code enforcement officer. The Lieutenant is responsible for supervising the two Sergeants and four officers that work within the Division. In addition to supervising these officers, he also serves as the Assistant Accreditation Manager for CALEA, and also serves as fleet manager, quartermaster, equipment maintenance coordinator, bike patrol supervisor, off-duty coordinator, the shore patrol unit supervisor, property control officer, and firearms instructor.
